A personal portfolio with local assets, optional aggregate analytics and a contact form. No advertising pixels or visitor profiles.
Who is responsible?
This website is operated by Aywin Nay. For questions about personal data or to exercise your rights, email hello@aywin.ch.
Visiting the website
Your browser sends technical information, including your IP address, to the web server to retrieve pages and assets. The hosting provider processes this traffic and technical logs to deliver and protect the website. Fonts, interface libraries, portraits and project screenshots are hosted with the site; they are not fetched from a third-party CDN on your visit.
Contact enquiries
The form asks for your name, email address and message so I can reply and discuss your request. Please do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for the enquiry. Messages are sent through the site's email service to hello@aywin.ch and are accessible to me and the providers that operate hosting and email delivery.
Routine enquiries are retained for up to 12 months after the last contact, unless an ongoing engagement or a legal requirement calls for longer retention. You may ask me to delete a routine enquiry sooner.
Form protection
The form uses a signed, short-lived token, an empty honeypot field and rate limits. For rate limiting, a keyed digest derived from the requesting IP address is kept in private server storage with a one-hour expiry. Expired entries are removed when the endpoint is used. Raw IP addresses are not written to that rate-limit file.
Optional analytics
Only if you choose “Accept analytics”, this website sends aggregate measurement events to its own server. The stored information is the calendar date, a known page path, an event label and a total count. Events cover page views, project previews and contact interactions. Names, email addresses, messages, query strings, referrers, raw IP addresses and visitor identifiers are not included in the analytics records.
Aggregate counts are retained for up to 13 months, with older counts removed when new events arrive. There is no advertising tracking and no third-party analytics service. Choose “Reject optional” to use the website without analytics. You can change your choice at any time through .
Cookies and browser storage
This site's code does not set tracking cookies. It stores a necessary preference called aywin-privacy-v1 in your browser's local storage to remember your analytics choice for 180 days. Clearing browser storage removes that preference. Reduced-motion settings come from your browser or operating system and are respected without storing another identifier.
Links to other websites
LinkedIn and email links are ordinary links. Their services receive information when you choose to open them. The GTVC gallery displays local screenshots, so opening it does not load GTVC's website in the background.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable data-protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information, object to processing or withdraw consent. Withdrawing analytics consent stops future events from this browser; aggregate counts contain no visitor identifier to locate a particular person's earlier visit. Contact hello@aywin.ch for assistance. You may also contact the data-protection authority responsible for your location, including the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner where relevant.
